Art Show: Imagine If...During Parent Teacher Conferences we had our annual art show. The theme of the show was Imagine If... and every class created art to display using their imagination. Kindergarten wondered what an alien might look like in the snow, 1st grade imagined what snowmen might do at night, 2nd grade created Alpine Starry Night landscapes, the 3rd graders designed their own robots using recyclable materials, 4th grade students painted fantasy fish, 5th grade wove yarn monster bookmarks, and the 6th graders created solar systems with constellations that included myths! Everyone did such a wonderful job with their art. Thank you to all the parents and students that came to see the art show!

Each grade worked hard on a Chinese New Year project which was displayed in the gym. We also created a giant doodle snake as a collaborative art project during the event! RESPECT
We talked about respect for the first week in art. Respect in the classroom was the main focus, but respect outside of the classroom was also mentioned. Each student in the school then got to draw a picture of what respect meant to them on a piece of a large respect mural/puzzle. After putting it all together, it turned out pretty amazing!
